Dust and shards of metal filled the air as the hulking demon stepped inside, its thorny, red skin gleaming in the flickering light. The demon casually entered the room. Its black eyes locked onto what it thought was another easy target. Azazel’s grin broadened. "So, I have discovered your hiding place Azael. The prodigal son cowering inside a cell hoping to be left alone by the evil beast?" The demons voice was smooth, almost mocking, as it stepped closer. "Did you really believe you can escape your destiny, Azazel? You are naïve if you think there's any hope of redemption for the likes of us. He does not forgive; we all know this to be true." The hulking creature stepped closer, in its hand it carried a massive sword forged from cursed steel, Azazel knew the weapon well. "Come, brother, leave behind this futile task you have set yourself and join your fallen comrades. Together we can build the world anew… you know where you belong, and I might spare you the humiliation of defeat." “Gaap!" Azazel spat in recognition of one of Lucifer's ranking demons. "I will admit I did not expect to see you here. But, I am pleased to inform you that you have made an error in entering this room. You may not be aware of it but what you’ve done, demon, is seal your own fate. You are one of many who have come to this earth to feast on the bloodshed of humanity and I have made it my mission to exterminate you all.” He swirled to the left, avoiding the cell door as it was hurled towards him. “You are mere seconds from death, you foul creature. I have made it my sole purpose to ensure you fail in your task.” a swing of the sword missed him by centimetres. "I belong where He puts me and right now He has placed me in your path!"
